No Regrets, Craig and Staci Birchler

Craig:

In 1971 My parents, through the help of the writings of Witness Lee, began to meet with other Christians as the church in Feilding, New Zealand. Many of my childhood memories involve the church. Some of my fondest memories were the Sunday morning children's program where I learned numerous Bible stories, church picnics at the beach, and the meetings in our living room where the adults read the Bible and sang together while the children played. I also remember the night of the junior high meeting where I heard the gospel and later opened my heart to Christ, and my baptism at age 16 with many of my friends. Now that I am 29 years old, I can say that I have no regrets having grown up in the local church. Here I saw not only the love for Christ, but also the love for one another and this made a tremendous impact on my life.

Staci:

According to 1 Thessalonians 5:23 man is composed of three parts: spirit, soul and body. This fact was a tremendous revelation to me about ten years ago when I was a teenager. A friend of mine knew that I had received the Lord as my personal Savior and she proceeded to explain that in my being saved, Christ as the Spirit had come into my innermost being, my spirit, and had filled me with Himself as the divine life. Wow! Without this friend speaking to me what she had read in the ministry of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee, I would be living my Christian life with only accidental contact with God. But because of her speaking, I have come to know that the Lord Jesus lives in my spirit and He is available for me to contact at any moment, not in my mentality but in my spirit!

Craig and Staci:

Even though we came from different backgrounds, the Lord brought us together and now as a couple we are enjoying Him and the church in Irvine, CA. We feel blessed that we have been exposed to this ministry and through it we are being helped to understand the Bible and to know the Lord Jesus in our daily life. We enjoy speaking of our wonderful Christ to our friends and neighbors and have an open home for all believers to come to enjoy such a One. We are very happy to be here in the church in Irvine!
